What is papercrete?
Paper + water → mush (pulp)
Add cement (or clay)
Shape it → it dries hard but light
Think: “paper + glue = light rock”

Papercrete Recipes


#1) With joint compound:

1/2c joint compound (not DAP)
1/2c Elmer’s glue all
1/2c damp paper pulp
1c Portland cement


#2) Without joint compound:

1/2c Elmer’s glue all
1/2c damp paper pulp
2/3c Portland cement


#3) Combo paper/cement/stucco:

1 part wet paper pulp
1 part cement
1/4 white pva glue
1/4 stucco mix
