Michelle Anne Harris
Michelle Anne Harris (she/they) is a Philadelphia based artist and Co Director of Big Ramp, where she is Head of Special Programs and Community Outreach. Her art and teaching practices are rooted in her background as a trauma informed early childhood art educator. Michelle has an interdisciplinary approach to creating that includes printmaking, photography, painting, book arts, poetry and sculpture. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in printmaking from Cranbrook Academy of Art and her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in photography and art education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Michelle has developed educational art programming for the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Cranbrook Institute of Science, Art Institute of Chicago, Hyde Park Art Center, and Mural Arts Philadelphia.
Kim Altomare
Kim Altomare (he/they) is an artist living and working in Philadelphia, PA. Altomare received their MFA from Yale School of Art (2019) and their BFA from Tyler School of Art (2013). Their work has been included in group and solo exhibitions at Fleisher Arts Memorial, Vox Populi, and Pilot Projects. Altomare has performed and read at Ulises, Vox Populi and Partners and Son. Residencies include the Ora Lerman Trust, Lafayette College's Experimental Printmaking Residency, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Yale Summer School of Art.
Yaqeen Yamani
Yaqeen Yamani (she/her, b.1997) is a Yemeni Palestinian photographer and artist who received a BA in Media Studies and Film from the Al-Quds Bard College and is a Fulbright Scholar with an MFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art at Temple University.Yamani is currently a resident at Twelve Arts Gates in Philadelphia and a manatee at Magnum Foundation, Prince Claus Fund, and AFAC. Her art practice includes photography, video, and printmaking. Her process centers material experimentation to explore themes of identity, rage, and grief. Through the use of language, image and text, Yamani’s current body of work focuses on modes of resistance, intervention, disruption, and reclamation. Besides her artistic practice,Yaqeen is community oriented and enjoys teaching art, photography, and organizing film screenings for the community by running a Jericho Cinema Club.
